Personal Data collected by SanCerre

When you make purchases from SanCerre we may collect the following personal data about you:

• your name, age and sex;
• your birth date (if you become a SanCerre VIP Member);
• billing and delivery addresses;
• Phone and email details;
• Where you have registered, your user name and password;
• When you place an order with SanCerre, your credit card details

We collect this data for internal purposes only and do not share this data with anyone without your prior permission.
Whilst data is collected during the transaction process, credit card details are not stored by SanCerre but rather encrypted and securely processed as detailed in security section below.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep track of your current online shopping session. Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer which collect certain personal data about you. This is so that we can tailor our offering and continue to improve your experience using our site. Again we fiercely protect your privacy and will not use this information for any reason other than to improve your shopping experience. You can disable cookies on your computer however to do so means that you may impair the functionality of our site.

Security

We are committed to taking all steps possible to ensure that transacting with us online is safe.  We use proven technology and security measures to offer you the highest level of protection.  As you transact with us, we encode your personal information with 128-bit(SSL) Secure Sockets Layer encryption technology.  You can easily tell your browser is secure when checking out by looking for the padlock icon in the bottom corner of your screen or the web address will display as https as opposed to the normal http.

Please note we do not store credit card details, these are process directly via eWay, a certified third party payment gateway.

If you are using a computer in a public location (i.e. internet cafe) we highly recommend that you log out when you are finished and ensure the website browser is completed closed.  We also recommend that you:

• Keep your account passwords private. Remember, anybody who knows your password may access your account.
• When creating a password, use at least 8 characters. A combination of letters and numbers is best. Do not use dictionary words, your name, email address, or other personal data that can be easily obtained. We also recommend that you frequently change your password. You can do this by going to “LOG IN” and selecting ‘Change name, email or password’,
• Avoid using the same password for multiple online accounts.
