SanCerre Says - clothing, jewellery and other musings

Summer Jewellery

Posted on Friday, September 17, 2010 by Sancerre

When predicting fashion jewellery trends it can be difficult to get the right product to market at the right time.  Trends are set by people not the organisations making product.  SanCerre hit the streets early 2010 to find out what people were looking for this coming summer, what items would define their summer 10/11 wardrobe, what pieces of clothing or accessory items they were looking to purchase to make their own statement.

Majority rules! It was clear to see that people were hoping to be inspired by bursts of colour yet jewellery items that could also work in with the emerging fashion trends. Eclectic prints, beautiful feminine florals and pastels are all huge for summer.

Sarah Wilkinson has developed a spring/summer collection that works in with not only current fashion & accessory trends but is versatile enough to spread across a wide demographic.

Create your own style, layering different colours and textures from a variety of SanCerre ranges.  Or add a burst of colour to a beautiful, neutral feminine outfit by adding a semi precious howlite bracelet set (sterling silver charms).  Our personal favourite is the
Bohemian Sunset Bracelet Set.

Always great to play with colour when your outfit is more subdued or if you choose bright prints, keep the focus there - opting for one statement jewellery item to compliment the print, not compete with it.  Whatever your look, we hope you have a fantastic spring, find some wonderful outfits and accessorise to showcase your own style!

Another successful trade show

Posted on Sunday, August 15, 2010 by Sancerre

SanCerre had a great trade fair at Life In Style in Melbourne last week. Very much enjoyed meeting existing and new customers.  The feedback on the new ranges of fashion jewellery was wonderful, and preliminary sales indicate a successful spring/summer 2010 season. Hard to believe we are already thinking about winter next year!  I've posted a few pics of our stand below....we took our customers right to the middle of all the action......beautiful Paris and the Eiffel Tower.  Given we are a french inspired brand, no place more fitting. Enjoy!

Now isnt the time to play it safe!

2010 isnt the year to play it safe! With statement jewellery being more popular than ever we say break free from convention and mix and match your way to a stylish and unique you! Mixing an armful of bracelets and bangles over a long sleeve or jacket this winter is all you need to make any outfit pop. Great way to introduce some colour and texture also. Blend SanCerre beaded jewellery bracelets with your latest chain store or high end designer finds to pull together something truly striking.

Of course we are preaching to the converted here - everyone in the office can be seen and HEARD! Jingling arms in every room!

Lastly, buy smart and your winter collection will take you right into summer 10/11. Like any good purchases you will just need a few seasonal colours to update the items/looks you already have. Happy bracelet layering! The main thing: HAVE FUN WITH IT!
